Project Overview
The MoMo by MTN platform design system project was initiated to enhance the efficiency and consistency of the MoMo super-app interface. The primary goal was to transform the existing DesignOps processes to align seamlessly with DevOps methodologies, fostering a more integrated and collaborative environment between design and development teams. By improving the interaction and usability of core components, the project aimed to streamline the user experience across the platform. This involved refining the information architecture of the super-app interface to ensure intuitive navigation and accessibility. The overarching objective was to create a cohesive design system that could adapt to the rapidly evolving fintech landscape, ultimately providing users with a superior and consistent experience.
My Contributions
In this project, I played a pivotal role in transforming the DesignOps processes to align with DevOps practices. I led the initiative to redefine workflows, promoting enhanced collaboration and communication between designers and developers. This involved implementing shared tools and platforms that facilitated real-time collaboration and reduced bottlenecks in the development cycle. I conducted comprehensive analyses, based on user-centered design principles to identify areas where interaction and usability could be improved.

Additionally, I made significant contributions to the information architecture of the super-app interface. I reorganized the content structure to create a more intuitive navigation system, ensuring that users could effortlessly access the various financial services offered by the app. My work involved creating detailed sitemaps and user flow diagrams to optimize the user journey. Through these efforts, I helped establish a scalable and adaptable design system that not only improved the current user experience but also laid the groundwork for future enhancements.
